Happy Labor Day

In honor of labor day, my coffee shop is closed. I’m glad for Rebecca, of course, but sad for me, as I will be working on lesson plans that I put off all weekend. Fortunately, I restocked with a pound of Sumatra beans on Friday, so should be good to go. Maybe I’ll even write an article today, since my Van Jones article seemed to hit a sore spot with many of my readers.

You have a coffee shop? Do you ever potty? Sleep? Are you phoning in parts of your life while doing other parts?
Sumatra is nummers. Shade grown?
Speaking as someone who is a proud Social Democrat, I think Van Jones is no worse than 99.999....% of the fartheads that roamed the halls of Presidentselect Bush's "administration". I never have understood the obsession with moral issues, especially from a group of people who have no business demanding ethics (all Congresses). It is a diversion tactic and a cop-out.
Drink Sumatra before working on lesson plans. You will be able to grade two papers at a time; a pen in each hand.

I should clarify. By "my coffee shop," I mean the coffee shop I live above and visit daily, not the one I own. It's Rebecca's coffee shop, and she always has a smile for me.
